ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Irene.

I am an interaction designer with a background in Mathematics and Fine Arts, and I am currently studying in Carnegie Mellon University, School of Design as a graduate student. My background in math allows me to think things in a logical and systematic way, and at the same time my art background enables me to focus on things more empathetically. These insights give me the motivations to work with people, in a way that could provide them with efficiency, accessibility and sustainability. Scientific strategies like research and analysis are highly applied during my design processes, and I am also focusing on building a bridge between fine art and practical design products using communication and other design methods.
